Hi Patric,

Well, I usually do read email on Sunday, but last Sunday I didn't. I was busy having a life. You're so right, people get so wrapped up in this work all the time mode that they let life pass them by.

Thanks as always for the wise advice.

Hello Patric,
I want to thank you for exposing yourself...letting the world see you as you are. A person with a purpose! I agree totally that having a purpose is number one. What you use to get there is less important as long as it is ethical.

Patric:

Thanks for putting your Heart and Mind into this video. The lessons you describe are priceless: I thought your analogy of the video games and the Games of Life was superb.

What I gained from your comments are the following. 1)Continue to grow: Seek expert help, after trying my best and not succeeding- rather than just give up.
and 2) Work and hold out for what I am passionate about. Don't settle for 2nd best because I'll never be satisfied with it.

I know both of these lessons are true- from my own experience. But I had forgetten. Thanks for reminding me.

In your programs and your emails you continue to overdeliver.

Thanks, Patric,

I think the absolute honesty approach you espouse is the only one new marketers should consider. The "tricks" and NLP and all that take time to develop, if they are ever the "right thing" to do at all.
Thanks for giving us someone who we can trust and for teaching us one can be successful without it being at some unsuspecting someone's expense.

This is a great post, Patric: D

Sometimes I really wonder whether doing SEO is worth the effort as search engines are always altering and updating their algorithms. It also seems that Google is trying to do something with text links as well.

I saw that Google Adwords product you mentioned. There was a huge commotion about it and many people were questioning about the mansion.

The problem is you can't really tell whether the big house, car or whatever really belongs to someone or not.

Hi Patric,

that was a good rant with a lot of information about revenue generating ideas. I'm pleased you had a go at the guys who peddle questionable products. There are too many of them around.

Dear Patric,

Wow! This is relly something. It only takes one person to open his/her hearts and it can touch a thousand hearts.

First of all I thank you for your sharing. It really touches my heart deeply. I can understand how you feel after our convesation. It is really heart breaking to hear comments that people do not know about what it takes to become successful.

I do believe it doesn't come over night. What I am most apperciative of you is your never give up attitute, honesty and your kindness.

I am pondering on my purpose of building an online business. At first, I wanted to build an online biz because I wanted to make more money. But after knowing you I noticed it's more than that.

Now I see that this online business is part of my purpose in life.

I've always felt highly motivated when I see that people's lives changed for the better after I come in contact with them. However, I've never relate this with building a business out of it.

Working with you, I have had to question myself again if I am ready to be consistently making a difference with people if I say that people are important to me.

What I gathered at this point is that no matter how great my purpose is or how high my motivation is, there is no short cut to success. I have to work my way up.

I am proud to have you as my coach and mentor in the online business.

love and grateful..........
Christie

Very well done Patric

This post shows that you had and still have a lot of inner strength and courage that is an inspiration to many other - myself included!

One of the things that I am sure kept you going was your focus on what you wanted as opposed to what you did not have

In other words, your circumstances may have been 'lacking' by some comparisons and yet you chose to be "Living With Abundance" in your own mind and this with other factors would have been a huge reason for your success - well done :-)

I have written a book on this subject for those who are interested:

Hi Patric,

Just to tell you that I really appreciate receiving your emails because of who you are, and what you stand for. In one word, Sincerity.

I say this as a rookie IM newbie who just started this month at seriously exploring how to make a living online.

Have opted in to loads of Gurus and marketers and reading their stuff, including yours. It's research work that makes my head hurt from info overload, but necessary grunt work.

Funnily, your stuff stand out for some reason, and I found I've always looked forward to reading your emails more than the rest, and your latest blog just revealed why. Pure and simple, your honesty and sincerity shines through. You know your stuff, and you care about helping others make it. There's no b.s**t from you and I like that very much.

I wish I had 'found out' about you and your systems earlier before I had paid big bucks to attend an IM course here in KL starting next month, plus buying another Guru's system from the USA. Even more, I wish I could have attended your affiliate coaching program in Penang, to learn from you, had I not made my commitments to those two courses.

I live in Kuala Lumpur, on the wrong side of middle age, and am an ex-office guy who's had it with the rat race. Guys our age had to learn about computers on-the-job and aren't too bright with the technologies, unlike the youger set. Anyone who can cut to the chase for me and leave out the hype fest, is a friend of mine.

I look forward to hearing more of your opinions (which I value highly)on your area of expertise, and wish you and yours the best.

Do sound out if you ever have an event in KL. Will be glad to attend and buy you coffee!

To your continued prosperity,

NHP

You're right Patric, one must have a purpose to drive them to succeed in any business, online or off. I have been fortunate all my life to have been mildly successful in every area (occupation) that I have put my hands too. I am fairly intelligent, decent education, and blessed with the gift of gab(sales!). Now when it comes to the online world there is a stark difference. It's like I was in preschool again! Any other occupation I have had was a peice of cake compared to this.

The information overload that everyone speaks of is what I thrive on. It's been 4 1/2 months now since I started to get serious about online marketing and still have'nt made that first sale, made a little adsense money but nothing to speak of. My purpose that drives me to spend the 8-10 hrs. a day at this is the act of conquering. The simple fact that this is the most complex thing I have ever done(from scratch) gives me the self motivation I need to fire up the computer every morning! I WILL be sucessful at IM just out of sheer determination. Without a defined purpose to acheive a specific goal, all your doing is playing with a hobby.

Your purpose was to prove to others that you could be successful. Everyones "purpose" will vary but the end results are the same, to be recognized for their potential. The unwritten law of universal human rights is that we all want to: 1.survive, 2.feel safe, 3.have relationships and propigate, 4.explore our potential, 5.reach our potential, 6.be recognized for our accomplishments. It takes courage to continue on a path that others say is wrong, but if that path is "YOUR" path to explore your potential than ignore the others and go the way of your desires.

No matter what the outcome. Thanks for the sunday emails Patric, and if you CHAN do it, others can too! Brian

Patric,

You touched my heart!

People won't know you much in person until they met you. It's been an honor to meet you, learned from you and I discovered that inside, everyone is just as human as you and me.

I never knew much about your family background until I read your post here.

It's inspirational, motivating and moving. And, I thank you for reminding me about the sacrifices that our parents made for us. I believe your dad understands you more now than before, and he is proud of you. Trust me (because I'm a parent too), he is proud of you and there's nothing more rewarding to parents than seeing their kid become a person who is as strong as you are.

I'm glad you shared this story with us.

Hi Patric,

Your story resembles mine at the point where mother lends son money and the purpose is to show others how wrong they are for not believing in you. I agree that the reason for finding success is the biggest motivator.

Congrats on your success and I hope to see you in person some day.

Hey Patric,

I've followed your growth and I've always been truly amazed by your spirit. Now that you reveal the times you came through, I am even more impressed and proud of you.

To the people who are reading this: one thing to remember about Patric. He is a VERY hard worker, but what has brought him to the place he is right now is service.

Patric has worked for many top gurus for very little or no money, but he always delivered the highest service as if he was getting paid top dollar.

Can you imagine how hard it is to not have any money and then go to work for someone for very little or no pay?

That investment that Patric made has given him more than any paycheck could ever give him: relationships built on trust.

Thanks Patric. You are one of the highest integrity guys out there. And you are right, you have just scratched the surface.
